There was no analysis available at the time of <br /> inspection for the waste sand. This waste is being recycled as non-hazardous waste. A generator shall make a <br /> hazardous waste determination and keep a record of any test results,waste analyses, or other determinations made <br /> in accordance with hazardous waste regulations for at least three years from the date that the waste was last <br /> disposed of. Immediately locate a copy of the waste analysis conducted for the waste sand and submit a copy to the <br /> EHD. If a copy is unavailable, immediately make a hazardous waste determination and begin managing the waste <br /> sand under Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d)Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> In the hazardous waste storage area, observed a 55 gallon drum of used oil with accumulation start date 11/26/18. <br /> Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored <br /> on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler <br /> to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> Observed a 55 gallon drum of used oil lacking the composition (contents), physical state, and hazardous properties <br /> on the label. <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties <br /> -physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. <br /> This was corrected on site. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by August 4, 2019. <br /> FA0003812 PRO513915 SCO01 07/05/2019 <br /> EHD 22-01 Rev.09/27/2018 Page 4 of 5 Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator OIR <br /> 1868 E.
