SAN J O A Q U I N Environmental Health Department <br /> --COUNTY— <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> LADDS MARINA 4911 BUCKLEY COVE WAY, STOCKTON December 03, 2019 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS 1,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f)Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. <br /> Inside the shop: <br /> -One black 30 gallon steel drum of paint waste had a hazardous waste label that was missing the accumulation start <br /> date. <br /> Outside the shop: <br /> -One black 55 gallon steel drum containing used oil had an illegible accumulation start date. <br /> -One black 55 gallon steel drum containing oily rags had a hazardous waste label that was missing the <br /> accumulation start date, hazardous property, physical state, name and address of the generator,and the words <br /> "Hazardous Waste." <br /> -One black 55 gallon steel drum containing paper/metal oil filters had a hazardous waste label that was missing the <br /> accumulation start date, hazardous property, physical state, name and address of the generator,and the words <br /> "Hazardous Waste." <br /> -One black 55 gallon steel drum labeled"bildge waste water"had a hazardous waste label that was missing the <br /> hazardous property and the physical state. <br /> -One black 55 gallon steel drum labeled"hazardous waste sweepings"had a hazardous waste label that was <br /> missing the accumulation start date, hazardous property, physical state,and the name and address of the <br /> generator. <br /> -One black 55 gallon steel drum containing oily debris and used oil was missing a hazardous waste label. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state,composition <br /> (contents),and the accumulation start date. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by January 2, 2020. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate($152).
