WALN'tiT GROVE ROAD <br /> LOP SITE CODE: 1752 <br /> CVWA'QCB CASE # 390193 <br /> APN: 00115029 <br /> 12-09-96 A pre-UST removal assessment identified soil and ground water <br /> contamination: TPH-gasoline, TPH-diesel, BTEX, and fuel oxygenates. <br /> Unauthorized Release Report and Prop-65 filed and additional site <br /> assessment was required. <br /> 01-03-97 Site placed into LOP and a Notice of Responsibility was sent to RPs. <br /> Additional assessment was required to determine the vertical and lateral <br /> extent of soil and ground`nater contamination. USTs have current <br /> precision tests that indicate systems are tight. <br /> 01-21-99 3 USTs removed under EHD permit and inspection. Results of soil and <br /> ground water samples obtained from beneath the USTs confirmed the <br /> presence of contamination found in 1996. <br /> 02-10-99 Date of the UST removal report prepared by Geotechnical Research and <br /> Development that contained soil and ground water analytical results. <br /> 07-28-99 The third soil and ground water investigation initiated. <br /> 07-30-99 Completion of the third soil and groundwater investigation; 9 borings by <br /> hand auger or direct push were placed in and around the former UST <br /> location. Total depth was from 10 to 25 ft. bgs. Soil and ground water <br /> samples were collected for analyses. <br /> 02-15-00 Completion date of an Interim Corrective Action WP prepared by Ground <br /> Zero Analysis. EHD approved work on 2-16-00. <br /> 03-07-00 Soil excavation to 15 ft. bgs be=an in former UST area. Approximately <br /> 3700 cubic yards of soil were removed. Soil samples were collected from <br /> the excavation and the stockpile for analyses. Approximately 60,000 <br /> gallons of contaminated water were pumped from the final excavation and <br /> removed off site for proper disposal. Clean soil was used to backfill the <br /> excavation. <br /> 12-29-00 Completion date of Ground Zero's Interim Soil and Ground Water <br /> Corrective Action Summary Report. The report contained analytical <br /> results for samples collected in March 2000. Ground Zero recommended <br /> 4 MWs be installed and sampled. EHD approved the work proposed. <br />
