Hinson:
I am inquiring as to your progress with our Site Closure Report
which was submitted on or about April 26 , 1994 .
As I may have stated earlier, I am under considerable pressure by
the United States Bankruptcy Court and the U. S . Trustee ' s Office
to close this seven year old case. The only asset remaining to
be liquidated is the Stockton property, which obviously cannot be
sold until the toxic issue is resolved. Since the toxic cleanup
has been on-going since 1989 , it is difficult to explain to third
parties why it is taking so long.
I would appreciate hearing from you as to your expectations of the
timeline to close the monitoring wells and obtain whatever
closure "blessings" are required from the various departments and
agencies .
Your earliest response would be appreciated.
Very truly yours

40o .
Lmt,
CATHERINE WHITWORTH
Trustee in Bankruptcy
cc: Kelleye Mc Kinney
JUN 0 3 1994
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH
PERMIT/SERVICES
