Kennedy/Jenks Consultants <br /> Engineers and Scientists <br /> 3336 Bradshaw Road Suite 140 <br /> Sacramento,California 95827 <br /> 26 April 1994 916 362 3251 <br /> FAX 916 362 9915 <br /> Ms Diane M Hinson, REHS <br /> ' Public Health Services <br /> San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> ' P 0 Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> ' Subject Underground Storage Tank Closure Report <br /> Cal-Farm Supply - Stockton Facility <br /> K/J 922540 00 <br /> ' Dear Ms Hinson <br /> ' On behalf of Catherine Whitworth, Trustee in Bankruptcy for Cal-Farm Supply, <br /> Kennedy/Jenks Consultants is submitting the attached Underground Storage Tank Closure <br /> Report (Closure Report) for the Cal-Farm Supply Stockton facility (Site) <br /> Site groundwater data has been collected since 1989 and a groundwater monitoring <br /> program, initiated at the request of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division, <br /> has been completed The results of this monitoring program, which have been submitted <br /> ' to you, indicate consistently low concentrations of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as gas <br /> and diesel which are localized at onsite well MW-1 Based upon these results, we are <br /> recommending no further action be taken at the Site and are requesting your concurrence <br /> ' for Site closure In addition to Site closure, we are requesting approval to destroy all five <br /> onsite monitoring wells <br /> ' It is my understanding that in addition to your concurrence we must obtain approval from <br /> the State Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) The attached Closure Report <br /> has been prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> ' Reporting requirements (Appendix A to the Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations for <br /> Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation of Underground Tank Sites) and documents Site <br /> history, existing conditions, and provides a rationale for requesting Site closure It is also <br /> ' my understanding that you will submit the Closure Report to the RWCQB for their review <br /> The Trustee in Bankruptcy and the United States Bankruptcy Court are eager to close this <br /> ' Site so that it may be sold and creditors satisfied Your continued assistance in bring this <br /> matter to closure is greatly appreciated Additionally, l want to express what a pleasure it <br /> has been to work with you on this project <br /> Serving Clients <br /> Since 1919 <br /> I <br />
