Both of these adjacent facilities have <br /> contributed pollutants to groundwater. Deere & Company is not responsible for <br /> pollutants originating from adjacent properties. <br /> Path to Closure <br /> As we discussed in our 12 November 2010 meeting, Deere & Company is removing the <br /> remaining concrete from the site in December and is obtaining additional soil and <br /> groundwater samples from these areas. Deere & Company is considering soil removal <br /> actions to remove source areas, and Deere & Company may conduct discrete <br /> groundwater extractions where exceedances have been identified.
