Soil samples were collected and analyzed. Monitoring well #3 was t
drilled to 50 feet and has been dry since it was installed. Groundwater G
samples were collected from monitoring wells #1 and 1`#2 (drilled to a depth
of 60 feet) on September 1, 1988. Results from soil and groundwater '
samples indicate that both have been impacted. Since monitoring well #3
has never had water in it the groundwater gradient for the site has never
been determined. Additional investigation of this site his warranted.
Sampling of the existing monitoring wells is to be initiated immediately.
P g g g '
Additional soil borings and/or monitoring wells should:be installed to
determine the groundwater gradient and physically define the extent of soil
and groundwater contamination.
