Wilson Way APN: 117-310-01
Stockton, CA 95205 Geotracker ID#: T0607700132
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed Groundwater
Extraction Pilot Test Work Plan (Plan), which had been submitted to Geotracker. The Plan was
required by the EHD in correspondence dated May 4, 2010.
The Plan proposes a 24-hour continuous, five-day soil vapor and groundwater extraction test
from three onsite wells. Thrifty has identified this combined extraction method as Multiple
Phase Extraction, MPE.
A mobile remediation unit will treat extracted soil vapor and groundwater from monitoring wells
MW-5s, MW-5d, & TB-7 onsite. Soil vapors are to be thermally destroyed and carbon-filtered
groundwater will be temporarily stored onsite in poly tanks pending approval to discharge to the
sewer lines by the City of Stockton Municipal Utilities Department. A report of findings will be
submitted to the EHD within 30 days from the end of the field work.
The Plan is adequate and necessary and approved. [H&S 25296.10(c)(3)]. Please provide a
time schedule for this testing to the EHD by September 17, 2010.
If you have any questions, please contact Michael Infurna at (209) 468-3454.
z4ex
Michael J.
