Thanks
Andrew wood
OSM—UTN6 -chep services
4360 pock lane suite 100
Stockton, ca 95206
209-256-4883
From: Robert Lopez [EHD] <rlopez@sigov.org>
Sent:Tuesday,July 7, 2020 10:02 AM
To:Wood,Andrew<Andrew.Wood@chep.com>
Subject: APR0520934; CHEP North America Hazardous Materials Program Compliance Review
0 This email originated from outside of Brambles.
Mr. Wood,
I have reviewed the CERS submittal and have found the following issues:
• Violation #5,the chemical inventory is not complete/accurate.
2. Propane—the size of the largest container was wrongly identified as 7 vs. 8 gallons, the daily maximum
amount was wrongly identified as 28 vs. at least 80 gallons, the storage pressure was wrongly identified
as "below ambient"vs. "above ambient".
• Violation #6,The site map does not show or address the following:
1. Loading areas.
2. Internal roads.
3. Storm and sewer drains.
4. Evacuation staging area.
5. Emergency shutoffs.
6. Access/exit point from the street.
7. The map is not topographically accurate and does not show the area between the adjacent streets and the
structure (i.e., street entrance, parking area).
➢ Please, review the attached map guidance documents. A site map shall contain a north orientation, loading
areas, internal roads, adjacent streets, storm and sewer drains, access and exit points, emergency shutoffs,
evacuation staging areas, hazardous material handling and storage areas, and emergency response
equipment. If a site map element is not applicable for your facility then list it on the map and label as "NA".
• Violation #7, Emergency Response/Contingency Plan is not complete.
■ The submittal does not address 1. Immediate notification of local emergency personnel, the California
State Warning Center, and the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD). 2.
Procedures for the mitigation of a release or threatened release to minimize any potential harm or
3
