A notification of the generators intent to <br /> remotely consolidate hazardous waste must be submitted annually. The notification shall included all of the <br /> following: <br /> (A)A general description of the remote location from which the non-RCRA hazardous waste will be initially <br /> collected. <br /> (B)A description of the type of hazardous waste that may be collected. <br /> (C)The location of the consolidation site and the generator ID number for that generator. <br /> (D)Significant differences in the generator's operations from the prior year's notification. <br /> Immediately submit notification of generator intent to remotely consolidate hazardous waste. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> Three used oil metal filters and one used oil paper filter were observed on top of a spill pallet next to a metal 55 <br /> gallon drum of used oil filters. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, <br /> explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the <br /> environment. Immediately containerize the filters and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. <br /> Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 303 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br /> equipment. <br /> -One spill pallet located adjacent to the used oil tank was observed full of oily water. <br /> -One eyewash located inside the maintenance shop was observed empty. <br /> All facility communications or alarm systems,fire protection equipment, spill control equipment, and <br /> decontamination equipment,where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure its proper <br /> operation in time of emergency. Immediately begin this practice. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 403 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> One black metal 55 gallon container of used oil filters was observed open and too full to shut completely. All <br /> hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste.
