If the damaged or used product can be re sold but not by our company, it will be boxed up and sold to a third party <br /> Reclamation company to be sold as discounted product. <br /> HAZARDOUS MATERIALS SPILL CONTROL PLAN <br /> In Case of a Spill: <br /> Minor spills, (those which do not pose an immediate threat to life, health or the environment) may be handled as fol- <br /> lows: <br /> • Control the spill <br /> i <br /> • Remove any customers/employees away from the spill site <br /> • Block off area of the spill <br /> • Using a Spill Kit - put on protective gloves and wipe up small spills with the towel provided in the kit <br /> • If larger spill - use absorbents on residual liquid <br /> • Put all debris from the spill into the bag provided in the Spill Kit. This includes gloves , towels, absorbents , etc, and <br /> dispose of in the Hazardous Storage Container in the appropriate bucket. <br /> • If in powder form , use the dust broom and the dust pan provided in the Spill Kit and put into bag to be disposed in <br /> the Hazardous Storage Container in the appropriate bucket. <br /> • Wash area and let dry. <br /> • In case of a broken fluorescent tube, use the dust broom and dust pan provided in the Spill Kit and put the remains <br /> in the bag to be disposed in the Hazardous Storage Container in the appropriate bucket. <br /> When changing fluorescent tubes or fluorescent light bulbs , place in the Certified Light Bulb Container and seal . Store <br /> in the assigned location in the store until container is full. <br /> Never throw items used for clean up or spilled product in the trash , including the container that the spilled product <br /> came from . They must be disposed of in the Hazardous Storage Containers - in the appropriate bucket. <br /> DISPOSAL OF HAZARDOUS WASTE <br /> Hazardous waste will be disposed of according to the County's regulations that the store is located in . <br /> If allowed - Hazardous waste will be picked up by a member of the Maintenance team every 180 days from the date <br /> that any hazardous waste is deposited in the container(s) or sooner if containers are filled . Each bucket within the <br /> Hazardous-Storage-CentafnerAWI-b"ealed--and-replaeed-with-art-empty-buc-ket--The-#tNed;sealed-bueket-wiMen-be- <br /> transported to the-local County Hazardous Waste-facility fordisposal . _. ________ . ___ _ ______ _ ____ <br /> If required - the Store Director or his representative will notify the certified Waste Removal Company that the store has <br /> contracted to remove the Hazardous waste every 180 days from the date that any hazardous waste is deposited in the <br /> container(s) or sooner if containers are filled . The contract for the certified Waste Removal Company will be on file at <br /> the store's location . <br /> For fluorescent tubes, once all tubes are filled in the Certified Light Bulb Container, the container will be bagged and <br /> boxed up . Notification to the appropriate shipper will be made for pick up within a timely manner. <br />
