Environmental Health Department <br />Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br />Date: <br />November 26, 2019 <br /> Facility Address: <br /> 1140 BESSEMER AVE, Manteca <br /> Facility Name: <br /> GB INDUSTRIAL SPRAY INC <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply) <br />RemarksItem # <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br />OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. The containers <br />were: <br />-17 55 gallon drums with waste liquid (soap/phosphate) observed with no hazardous waste labels. <br />-1 black 55 gallon drum with waste paint observed with no hazardous waste labels. <br />Note: Operator states that the waste liquid is from cleaning out the machines and equipment. The waste was <br />generated in October. He says every 3 years they clean out all the machines and equipment. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br />words “Hazardous Waste”, name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br />(contents), and accumulation start date <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br />action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br />(EHD) within 30 days. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by 12/27/19. <br />Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
