If mitigation implemented will <br /> Potentially Significant Impacts Suggested Mitigation Measures impact be less than significant? <br /> • The southern margin of the proposed <br /> irrigated pasture land must be relocated <br /> 600 feet north of the southern border of the <br /> property to prevent further degradation of <br /> the site as a result of irrigation. <br /> • Areas designated for storage of excavated <br /> landscaping soil must be moved to the <br /> eastern half of the project area. <br /> • All sewage leach fields must avoid the area <br /> of high archaeological sensitivity. <br /> Native American (Miwok)concerns shall be Yes <br /> addressed, and any development undertaken shall be <br /> done with their consultation. An ethnographer <br /> should determine the relationship between these <br /> osites and Miwok oral and traditional history. <br /> A qualified archaeological monitor with the Yes <br /> following requirements must be present during all <br /> land altering or excavation activities. <br /> • Shall have at a minimum, a B.A. or <br /> equivalent and one year field experience <br /> and answer to a professional archaeologist. <br /> • Shall be independent of any Native <br /> American monitor present. <br /> • Shall have the authority to stop <br /> construction activity within 10 meters of <br /> any cultural material uncovered until that <br /> find has been mitigated to the satisfaction <br /> of the monitor,or the project is redesigned. <br /> Uncovered material could be excavated, <br /> photographed or removed upon the <br /> monitor's discretion. <br />
