The purpose of the ten year withdrawal from the <br /> Williamson Act is to allow for proper planning in regard to <br /> development . <br /> As landowners of property in the Williamson Act , we believe it is <br /> not justifiable for one special interest group to have property <br /> removed from the Williamson Act by "buy out" versus slow withdrawal <br /> which the law requires . The intent of the law is defeated if this <br /> type of removal from the Act is allowed to occur . It will <br /> encourage further abbrogation of the law .
