Regulatory and Economic Impact Analyses. Directed economic impact <br /> assessments of toxic air pollutant regulations for the states of North <br /> Carolina and Maryland. Conducted economic impact analyses for two <br /> EPA regulatory projects: PM10 and NOx increment development under the <br /> PSD program. Performed regulatory impact analyses for three EPA New <br /> Source Performance Standards: stationary gas turbines, the synthetic <br /> organic chemicals manufacturing industry, and wood stoves. <br /> Regulatory Compliance. Directed a toxic air pollutant emissions inventory <br /> for a large aerospace manufacturer. Audited several manufacturing <br /> facilities for EPA to determine compliance with Section 313 of the <br /> Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act. <br /> Air Quality Studies. Involved in preparing air quality permits, environmen- <br /> tal impact reports, and emissions inventories for the following types of air <br /> emission sources: solid and hazardous waste incineration, tire incineration, <br /> peat mining, coal-fired boilers, gas turbines, and furniture, aerospace, <br /> semiconductor, and automobile manufacturing. Experience has included <br /> site feasibility studies, air dispersion modeling, emission control determina- <br /> tions, socioeconomic impact analyses, report writing, staff management, and <br /> budget tracking. <br /> Public Power Council. Staff Economist. Analyzed the impacts of the <br /> Pacific Northwest Regional Power Act on issues relevant to public utilities. <br /> Developed strategies and wrote position papers on energy supply and <br /> demand issues. Represented public power issues before government and <br /> industry at regional meetings and by providing written and oral testimony <br /> at electric power rate hearings. <br /> Sweetwater County Association of Governments. Research Associate. <br /> Examined the causes and consequences of the boom-town growth resulting <br /> from rapid energy development in southwestern Wyoming. <br /> Colorado State University. Research Assistant.
