If the generator did not receive a copy of the manifest with the <br /> handwritten signature of the owner or operator of the facility to which the generator's waste was submitted within 60 <br /> days of the date the waste was accepted by the initial transporter, the generator shall submit a legible copy of the <br /> missing manifest,with some indication that the generator has not received confirmation of delivery. This information <br /> shall be submitted to: <br /> DTSC Report Repository <br /> Generator Information Services Section <br /> P.O. Box 806 <br /> Sacramento, CA 95812-0806 <br /> Immediately locate a copy of the missing manifests or prepare and submit the required information to DTSC. <br /> Submit to the EHD a copy of the signed off copy of the manifest or a copy of the information submitted to DTSC. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> -Metal fines were observed around the grinding machines and on the ground in the machine shop. <br /> -Oil was observed on the ground surrounding a metal cutting machine on the southwest wall of the machine shop. <br /> Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion,or release of hazardous <br /> waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. Immediately clean up the <br /> oil and metal fines and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and <br /> supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d)Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> -One black plastic 5 gallon bucket of bead blast waste/metal fines was observed in the machine shop with an <br /> accumulation start date of 3/16/2016. <br /> -One black metal drum of oily water was observed in the machine shop with an accumulation start date of <br /> 3/16/2018. <br /> Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste <br /> stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days.
