' vicinity of the former UST and B-6 was approximately 15 feet northeast of <br /> the former UST All boring locations are shown on Figure 2 <br /> i <br /> 2.4.1 Analytical Results far Soil <br /> All soil analytical data from the site are presented in Table 2 Results from <br /> ' this investigation are summarized below <br /> • TPH-g was detected in soil from boring B-5 at concentrations ranging <br /> ' from 160 to 1,200 mg/kg The chromatograms for these analyses did <br /> not match the gasoline standard and were qualified as "tentatively <br /> identified" by an ERM chemist TPH-g was not detected in any of the <br /> ' soil samples analyzed from boring B-6 <br /> • Benzene was detected at 0 025 mg/kg in boring B-6 at 31 feet bgs <br /> Benzene was not detected in samples analyzed from boring B-5 or the <br /> deeper sample from boring B-6 <br /> • Toluene was detected in boring B-5 (25 and 40 5 feet bgs) and in boring <br /> ' B-6 (31 feet bgs) at concentrations ranging from 0 0085 to 15 mg/kg <br /> • Ethylbenzene was detected in boring B-5 at concentrations ranging <br /> from 12 to 12 mg/kg <br /> • Xylenes were detected in all six soil samples analyzed Concentrations <br /> lie detected in boring B-5 ranged from 6 2 to 69 mg/kg, results from <br /> boring B-6 were 0 014 and 0 029 mg/kg <br />' • Tertiary butyl alcohol (TBA) was the only fuel oxygenate detected in <br /> soil at the site TBA was detected at a concentration of 0 019 mg/kg in <br /> the 36 feet bgs sample from boring B-6 <br /> 2.4.2 Analytical Results or <br /> y f Ground Water <br />' The analytical results for ground water samples collected during this <br /> investigation are presented in Table 3 and summarized below <br />' TPH-g was detected in ground water from borings B-5 and B-6 at <br /> concentrations of 46,000 and 1,500 micrograms per liter (µg/1), <br />' respectively The chromatograms for these gasoline analyses did not <br /> match the gasoline standard and were qualified as "tentatively <br /> identified" by an ERM chemist <br /> • All BTEX compounds were detected in borings B-5 and B-6 Samples <br /> from boring B-5 reported concentrations of 2,300, 310, 570, and 6,500 <br /> µg/l for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes, respectively <br /> Samples from boring B-6 reported concentrations of 38, 11, 12, and <br /> 180 µg/l for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes, respectively <br /> ERM 6 9343 50/UPRR/02/13/03 <br />
