� s <br /> • Read and understand this HASP All Radian field personnel will sign-off <br /> stating that they have read and will comply with the HASP (Figure 2-1), <br /> • Perform work safely, <br /> • Report any unsafe conditions or other health and safety concerns to the <br /> SSHO/SEC <br /> • Suggest improved work practices or safety procedures to be practiced in <br /> the field to the field coordinator, project director, or project health and <br /> safety officer, and <br /> i <br /> • Be aware of and alert for signs and symptoms of exposure to site <br /> contaminants and/or heat or cold stress <br /> 2.5 Responsibilities of the Subcontractor Supervisors <br /> • Radian will not assume responsibility for the safety, health or well-being of any <br /> subcontractor's employees A firm or individual subcontracted to Radian is responsible for <br /> meeting all contractual agreements and for providing a safe and healthy workplace for its <br /> employees <br /> All subcontractors must develop and implement a comprehensive HASP if <br /> contractually required The plan must comply with all applicable OSHA health and safety <br /> regulations (29 CFR 1910/1926) and any project-specific requirements Radian has specified The <br /> a <br /> subcontractor must provide Radian with a copy of this plan before the start of work Radian's <br /> acceptance of the plan does not mean Radian considers the plan adequate to protect the health <br /> and safety of the subcontractor's employees, that responsibility rests solely with the <br /> subcontractor Subcontractors will sign a waiver (Figure 2-2) stating that they understand and <br /> agree with this arrangement The Project Geologist/Engineer will monitor the subcontractor's <br /> performance regarding health and safety issues to ensure their activities do not jeopardize the <br /> health and safety of Radian employees Any concerns will be brought to the attention of the <br /> • subcontractor and the Project Manager Failure to correct the situation or continued disregard <br /> must be reported to the Project Manager <br /> I i <br />' 2-4 <br />
