Two <br />55 gallon drums of solid and one of liquid were observed in the south yard with no labels. Facilities who generate less <br />than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store <br />waste on site up to 180 days. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under <br />manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br />605 <br />CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br />A 55 gallon blue steel drum of liquid was observed in the south yard with a ripped, faded label and the contents could <br />not be read. Two 55 gallon drums of solid and one of liquid were observed in the south yard with no labels. All <br />hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br />- the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />- name and address of generator <br />- hazardous properties (reactive, toxic, corrosive, ignitable) <br />- physical state (liquid, solid) <br />- composition (contents) <br />- accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br />information. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by December 20, 2017. <br />Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials information <br />online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov.
