According to Mr. Alonzo, no hazardous waste training is provided. The <br />generator must ensure that all employees who handle hazardous waste are thoroughly familiar with proper waste <br />handling and emergency procedures. Provide proof of training to the EHD for employees whose responsibilities <br />include hazardous waste. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />110 <br />CCR 66262.40(a) Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years. <br />Copies of uniform manifests for the disposal of hazardous waste for March 2015 through July 2017 were not found <br />on site. Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all <br />receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for <br />review. Immediately locate a copy of all missing manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them on <br />site, and submit copies to the EHD. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />113 <br />HSC 25160.2(b)(3) Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years. <br />Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for March 2015 through July 2017 were not found on site. Hazardous <br />waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a <br />consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review. Immediately <br />locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the <br />EHD. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br />303 <br />CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br />equipment. <br />Oily liquid was observed in the used oil drum secondary containment. All facility communications or alarm systems, <br />fire protection equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment, where required, shall be tested <br />and maintained as necessary to assure its proper operation in time of emergency. Secondary containment shall be <br />maintained clean and dry. Immediately begin this practice. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br />403 <br />CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br />waste. <br />Two black steel buckets of waste fuel were observed in the tank area with no lids. All hazardous waste containers <br />shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste.
