Did not observed any hazardous waste on site. The mechanic shop is being used as a storage room now. Jose Beas, owner, stated that he stopped his mechanic business in 2012. Asked if he remembered when he stopped his mechanic business in 2012 and he mentioned it was approximately a month before the last inspection conducted on June 1, 2012. However, he did no disclose that he stopped his mechanic business with the last inspector. He thought that the hazardous waste permit fees from EHD was an automatic payment for business license all this time. Jose stated that if he need services on his cars, he brings to other facilities for services and does not do on site anymore. Discussed his account balance with him and he said he paid the bills in March of this year. Please contact the accounting department of EHD regarding the account balance at 209-468-3420. ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE.
