On October 18 we sent a sample of the sand blast waste to California <br />Laboratory Services (3249 Fitzgerald Road, Rancho Cordova; 1.800.638.7301). <br />The lab will check for toxicity by a CAM 17 test for heavy metals. Copies of the <br />Chain of Custody (COC) form and the UPS Proof of Delivery are attached. <br />#15. The spilled waste oil in secondary containment pallet spill control <br />equipment has been drained into one of the waste oil drum. <br />#20. All waste oil drums are labeled according to the Hazardous Waste Labeling <br />Minimum Requirements poster you provided. Shop techs have been reminded to <br />periodically check the level is the drums, and to add the accumulation start date <br />to the label when the 151 drum is half full. They have also been reminded to keep <br />the drum closed except when adding or removing oil. <br />#23(3). The drum of drained used oil filters is now labeled according to the <br />Hazardous Waste Labeling Minimum Requirements poster you provided. Shop <br />techs have been reminded to keep the drum closed except when adding or <br />removing waste. <br />#23(5). Disposal records for the drained used oil filters from the past three <br />years are part of the records you reviewed. The filters were picked up by <br />Evergreen Environmental Services on 12/13/06 (refer to Work Order/Service <br />Agreement No. 353493, handwritten W098837, and billed on invoice 0178753; <br />and again on 3/25/09 (refer to Work Order/Service Agreement No. 29693, <br />handwritten W0213821, billed on invoice 29693. Copies of waste oil and <br />drained used oil filter pickup invoices are attached. <br />#27. Shop employees have been reminded that all hazardous waste containers <br />must be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Signs to <br />that effect have been posted near the waste oil drums. <br />#60 and 63. Copies of disposal records for 2006 - 2010 are attached, as is a <br />printout from our accounts payable system, showing no vendor invoices for <br />pickups in 2007. <br />
