• All Associates must undeM&nd that "Caroline Code Orange" is the ccg&for missing person. <br />• All Associates must be pr ed information so that they will understa that they must respond to <br />the "designated" exit if a "Caroline ode Orange" is announced. <br />• All Associates must be prepared to act quickly when someone is reported missing. <br />• Every f=acility must conduct an annual Missing Persons Drill. <br />During an Event <br />• Notify Management that a missing person has been reported <br />• Remain calm <br />• Call 911 immediately <br />• In retail facilities connected to a Mall, notify Mall Security <br />• Management will announce a "Caroline Code Orange" over the PA system <br />Script 1 - Missing Person "Caroline Code Orange Alert, Caroline Orange Alert, Associates <br />go to and cover all exits" (REPEAT) <br />• Associates will go to designated exits <br />• Management will obtain information from the party reporting the missing person, such as: <br />Name Age / gender Height / weight <br />Hair color / eye color Race Description of clothing <br />Describe where and when the person was last seen <br />• 2"d PA Announcement Script, after exits are covered and description received <br />Script 2 - Description "Attention customers and Associates, we are looking for a <br />missing . He/she is wearing <br />Immediately let an Associate know if you find the missing <br />person" (REPEAT) <br />• Other Associates will search rest rooms, stockrooms, office areas, fitting rooms, stairwells, <br />vestibules and any other location where someone could be taken. All other Associates will search <br />their immediate work areas looking for the missing person. <br />• If the "Missing Person" is found, the Associate finding the missing person will let Management know <br />immediately. Management will arrange for the missing person to be reunited with the person who <br />reported them missing. <br />• Management will make the "All Clear" announcement to end the search and door coverage. <br />• 3rd PA Announcement Script, once missing person has been found <br />Script 3 - All Clear "All clear - the missing person has been found - All <br />clear" (REPEAT) <br />Note: The Missing Persons Drill is an annual required drill. <br />After an Event <br />• Always follow instructions issued by Law Enforcement / Emergency Services. <br />• Refer to the EAP Procedures / Post Event Section for additional assistance. <br />During an Event <br />Power or refrigeration failure <br />• Obtain dry ice <br />• Select one product to monitor temperature <br />24 <br />
