• All Associates must undeM&nd that "Caroline Code Orange" is the ccg&for missing person. • All Associates must be pr ed information so that they will understa that they must respond to the "designated" exit if a "Caroline ode Orange" is announced. • All Associates must be prepared to act quickly when someone is reported missing. • Every f=acility must conduct an annual Missing Persons Drill. During an Event • Notify Management that a missing person has been reported • Remain calm • Call 911 immediately • In retail facilities connected to a Mall, notify Mall Security • Management will announce a "Caroline Code Orange" over the PA system Script 1 - Missing Person "Caroline Code Orange Alert, Caroline Orange Alert, Associates go to and cover all exits" (REPEAT) • Associates will go to designated exits • Management will obtain information from the party reporting the missing person, such as: Name Age / gender Height / weight Hair color / eye color Race Description of clothing Describe where and when the person was last seen • 2"d PA Announcement Script, after exits are covered and description received Script 2 - Description "Attention customers and Associates, we are looking for a missing . He/she is wearing Immediately let an Associate know if you find the missing person" (REPEAT) • Other Associates will search rest rooms, stockrooms, office areas, fitting rooms, stairwells, vestibules and any other location where someone could be taken. All other Associates will search their immediate work areas looking for the missing person. • If the "Missing Person" is found, the Associate finding the missing person will let Management know immediately. Management will arrange for the missing person to be reunited with the person who reported them missing. • Management will make the "All Clear" announcement to end the search and door coverage. • 3rd PA Announcement Script, once missing person has been found Script 3 - All Clear "All clear - the missing person has been found - All clear" (REPEAT) Note: The Missing Persons Drill is an annual required drill. After an Event • Always follow instructions issued by Law Enforcement / Emergency Services. • Refer to the EAP Procedures / Post Event Section for additional assistance.
