• When outdoors, select an Aaa away from buildings, trees, telephonMnd electrical lines, <br />overpasses, or elevated eW6ssways. <br />• Know when to call 911, police, or fire department and which radio station to tune to for <br />emergency information. <br />• Know how and when to turn off gas, electricity, and water. <br />During an Event <br />Follow instructions by local emergency response providers <br />Shelter Indoors <br />• Relocate merchandise to an enclosed location to protect it from volcanic ash <br />• Cover outdoor merchandise with tarps <br />• Close windows, doors, and dampers <br />• Listen to a battery-operated radio or television for updated information and instructions. <br />Ordered to Evacuate <br />• Follow evacuation order issued by authorities and activate your emergency action plan. <br />• Avoid areas downwind and river valleys downstream of the volcano and stay out of the area <br />defined as a restricted zone by government officials. <br />• Avoid areas downwind and river valleys downstream of the volcano. <br />Trapped Outdoors <br />• Seek shelter indoors, away from various hazards. <br />• Be aware of mudflows, which often accompany eruptions. Move quickly out of the path. <br />After an Event <br />Initial Return to a NON -impacted Facility <br />• Return to store only after authorized by local officials. <br />• Contact local utility companies to re-establish services. <br />• Upon entering the facility, NEVER use matches, cigarette lighters or any other open flames, <br />since gas may be trapped inside. Instead, use natural light or a flashlight to light your way. Do <br />not enter the facility unless you are sure it is safe. <br />• If money has not been already deposited prior to the flood, then all excess cash must be <br />deposited as soon as possible following the disaster. Store should retain no more than <br />$3,000.00 designated for local purchase requirements. Immediately following the final deposit, <br />store is to cancel armored car service until further notice. <br />• Continue to monitor weather conditions which can affect the situation. <br />Initial Return to an impacted Facility <br />Always follow the direction of local emergency authorities. <br />Never place yourself or others at risk. Protect people first, then property. If the facility appears to <br />have sustained structural damage due to impact do not re-enter the building. <br />
