shall devise a schedule of rotating'days for sampling purposes, subject to approval by the City of <br />Stockton Environmental Control section. An example of rotating days for once per week would be <br />Monday of the first week, Tuesday of the second week, Wednesday of the third week, etc. <br />PH will be reported by exception on a monthly basis. Exception reporting means the number of <br />minutes that the pH is above 10 or below S. The pH meter must be standardized with 4,7 &10 pH <br />buffer solutions at least once each day. <br />The technician performing the calibration will record the date and time on the chart and initial the <br />entry. It is best to keep a daily found as, left as pH standardization log for the 4, 7,10 standardization <br />data. <br />The monthly reports will also indicate the time, date and place, of sampling, persons responsible for <br />collection and handling of the sample including all chain of custody reports, methods of analysis, <br />date of analysis, sample analysis results including quality control results for the analysis and shall <br />certify that such sampling and analysis is representative of the expected pollutants discharged to the <br />sewer. Should the Permittee monitor for any pollutants more frequently than required by this permit, <br />including, but not limited to, spills, site remediation work, stormwater, internal treatment system <br />audits, or treatment operational testing the results from those monitoring events shall also be <br />included in the monthly report. <br />Should any monitoring by the Permittee indicate a violation with any part or condition of this permit, <br />Unifirst must notify the Environmental Control Section within 24 hours of becoming aware of the <br />violation. Any instances of failure to report by the Permittee may result in the assessment of <br />maximum fines allowed under Stockton Municipal Code. <br />The monthly reports and any compliance reports required by this permit shall contain the following <br />certification statement signed by an authorized representative: <br />"I certify under penalty of law that this document and all attachments were prepared under my <br />direction or supervision in accordance with a system designed to assure that qualified personnel <br />properly gather and evaluate the information submitted. Based on my inquiry of the person or <br />persons who manage the system, or those persons directly responsible for gathering the information, <br />the information submitted is, to the best of my knowledge and belief, true, accurate, and complete. I <br />am aware that there are significant penalties for submitting false information, including the <br />possibility of fine and imprisonment for knowing violations." <br />The Permittee shall perform the QAQC according to the City of Stockton, Department of Municipal <br />Utilities, Quality Assurance Manual for Self -Monitored Industries in conjunction with Permittee <br />Self -Monitoring Sample Program. <br />The Permittee shall have all flow and pH monitoring equipment calibrated by a certified technician <br />at least once every 6 months.
