BENJAMIN HOLT <br />STOCKTON, CA 95207 <br />. <br />In late 1983, the Governor signed into law A82013 and 1362. These Bills require <br />the inventory, inspection and permitting of all underground.storaqe tanks that <br />contain hazardous materials. The San Joaquin Local Health District, Division <br />of Environmental Health was designated as the enforcement agency for the <br />cities and unincorporated areas within San Joaquin County. State law provides <br />for a fee system to cover the cost of implementing this state mandated <br />Local fees (see attached Fee Schedule), for these required inspectional <br />services, will be billed on a yearly basis. The facilities Permit to Operate <br />will be issued for a five year period. In addition to the yearly <br />inspectional fee, this statement will also include a $56/tank State surcharge <br />fee. The State surcharge fee per tank will be charged every five years or <br />whenever the facilities permit is renewed or amended. All State surcharge <br />fees will be transmitted by the Health District to the California Water <br />Resources Control Board. <br />To apply for a facilities Permit to Operate, complete the attached Fee <br />Worksheet and submit the appropriate fees. Fees are due and payable February <br />3Y 1986. Fees received after, March 6Y 1986 are subject to 100% penalty. <br />In order to answer any questions regarding this Underground Storage Tank <br />program, the San Joaquin Local. Health Distict Division of Environmental Health <br />has scheduled the following information workshops: <br />� 1. Thursday, January 30, 1986, 10 AM <br />' 2. Monday, February 3, 1986,'2 PM ' <br />� 3. Tuesday, February 11, 1986, 2 PM <br />All of the above informational workshops will be conducted at the San Joaquin <br />trict Board Room, 1601 E. Hazelton Ave.P Stockton, CA. Due to' <br />Local Health Dis <br />limited space, these workshops wil be.limited to the first 200 persons per <br />if you have any questions regarding this, please contact C.
