Chevron
May 4,2001 „ Chevron
San Joaquin County Environmental Health
304 E Weber Ave
Stockton,Calif.,95202
Attn: Michael Kith
Chevron Station#9-4275
2905 W Benjamin Holt
Stockton,California
Permit Adendum
Dear Mr. Kith
As discussed on site yesterday,Chevron proposes to change the method of monitoring the double walled
product lines. We propose to utilize a PLLD to perform a 3 gph test, and shut down the turbine if a leak is
detected. The PLLD will also perform a 0.1 gph yearly test,A copy of which was provided to you
yesterday.
We also propose eliminate the turbine sump sensors from doing positive turbine shut down. These sensors
will be programmed to only go into alarm if or when product is detected.
I am also attaching two cut sheets. One for the PLLD(veeder root model #848480-001)that was replaced
on the regular#I tank. The other for the replacement annular space sensor(veeder root model#794390-
409) in the regular#2 tank.
If you have any questions concerning this, please feel free to contact me at 925-842-8602.
Sincerely,
1
Antonio L.
