o If no visible leaks are observed,then: <br /> • Sump Integrity Test actions(see Step I.0 above) <br /> will be perform <br /> • If previously repaired and filled entry boots are <br /> leaking the repair scenario will be escalated to <br /> System Upgrade Actions(see Step III below) <br /> ■ The contractor will complete a Sump Inspection Testing Log for <br /> each sump(see Exhibit 3). <br /> III. System Upgrade Actions (see Table 3) <br /> System Upgrade actions will be performed when the approved Manufacturers <br /> repair methods undertaken in Step II(see also Exhibit 2)prove to be unsuccessful as <br /> identified by brine loss with no visible cause or by step C,Advanced Leak Detection <br /> Procedure of the Bravo Systems Inc. "Installation Manual for the New Advanced Leak <br /> Detection Procedure for Hydrostatic Monitoring"(see Exhibit 1). <br /> System Upgrade Actions will include sump area excavation to expose the <br /> necessary sump wall(s) and the sump wall penetration fitting(s). When the necessary <br /> (i.e., suspected leaking) sump walls and sump penetration fittings are exposed,Chevron <br /> shall take the following steps: <br /> • Upgrade all the sump penetration fittings with NUPI SEBEF fittings <br /> according to the NUPI SEBEF Installation anual(IM) <br /> • Test all NUPI SEBEF upgrade repairs to determine compliance with the <br /> NUPI SEBEF IM Testing Procedure(see Exhibit 4) <br /> • All sump wall repairs will be performed by the tank/sump manufacturer's <br /> certified contractor only. <br /> • All sump repairs will be verified by the test protocol as described in the <br /> Bravo Installation Manual for the New Advanced Leak Detection <br /> Procedure for Hydrostatic monitoring"(see Exhibit 1). <br /> • Piping repairs will be subjected to pressure testing per the manufacturers' <br /> instructions. <br /> • The contractor performing the repair will complete the applicable Fueling <br /> Inspection Testing Check List forms(see Exhibit 5) <br /> IV. Work Plan Permitting and Safety <br /> Application and fees for all required permits will be executed before any repairs <br /> to the system are conducted <br /> All the work and repairs described in this plan will be performed by licensed and <br /> certified contractors and technicians. <br /> All the work described in this plan will be performed according the approved Site <br /> Health and Safety Plan. <br /> 4 <br />
