andaccurately
detect the presence of
hydrocarbons or water.
Mag Sump Sensor
Veeder-Root's Mag Sump Sensors quickly and
accurately detect the presence of hydrocarbons
or fluids and differentiate between the two,
in their respective locations.
Alarm conditions — Fuel Alarm, Water
Warning, High Water Alarm, Sensor Position
and Sensor Out are indicated by an audible
alarm, a displayed message and a
printed message on the TLS -350R or
TLS -350 Plus. They are also recorded
as part of the TLS -350R or TLS -350
Plus Alarm History Report.
The sensor uses proven magnetostrictive
technology and two floats to detect and track
the amount of water and fuel in the containment
sump or dispenser pan. The sensor will
also quantify the volume of
water in the sump, which can be used
by service personnel to determine
needed storage capacities when the
water is removed.
Temperature Rating
Storage:
-40 degrees C to + 70 degrees C
Operating:
-40 degrees C to + 70 degrees C
Cable Length:
100 feet
Sensor dimensions:
IAvailable in lengths up to 24"
 fi v -Boor
Features
• A Fuel Alarm is triggered when fuel
reaches 1 1/2" high.
• A Water Warning is triggered when
the Water reaches 1.0" high. The
Water level is then tracked by level
and volume until it is removed.
• A programmable High Water Alarm is
triggered when the water reaches the
respective levels.
• A Sensor Position Alarm is triggered
whenever the sensor is moved from
Standard Models
Form No. Description
8570 Series 12" model
8570 Series 24" model
330020-012 Universal Sensor
Mounting Kit
its position at the bottom of the
containment sump or dispenser pan.
• Fast reaction and recovery times allow
for quick and easy periodic operability
testing (if required by local agencies).
• Since fuel and water are accurately
identified and tracked, the station may
(where allowed) remain in operation
when liquid alone is detected.
Mag Sump Sensors are compatible with the
following consoles:
Console Series
TLS -350R 8482
TLS -350 Plus 8470
For more information call
1-888-561-7942
C 2003 Veeder-Root Company • 125 Powder Forest Drive • Simsbury, CT 06070 • USA
Telephone: 860-651-2700 • Fax: 860-651-2719 • www.veeder.com
VR 13752 P/N 0576047-070 Rev.A VRLP 4/2003 Printed in USA
