A1004 Super Duty Containment <br />Manhole <br />The A1004 Super Duty Con- <br />tainment Manhole is the latest <br />generation in spill contain- <br />ment. Designed from the <br />specifications supplied by <br />numerous U.S.T. owners and <br />installers, the A1004 is the <br />highest quality containment <br />manhole offered by Emco <br />Wheaton. The numerous <br />features include the specially <br />sloped drainage channels in <br />the rim to keep the surface <br />water out. This heavy duty <br />cast iron rim also incorporates <br />a streamline crown shape built <br />to handle the abuse of snow <br />plows. A super duty cast iron <br />lid will withstand heavy traffic <br />loads and discourage theft. <br />The A1004 threads directly on <br />a 4" riser pipe and includes <br />factory installed preset expan- <br />sion bars to make installation <br />easy and correct. A push <br />down high flow internal drain <br />saves on drainage time and <br />supplies a reliable seal. The <br />medium density polyethylene <br />bellows allow for tank move- <br />ment or concrete pad settling. <br />The A1004 also features grade <br />level installation so it com- <br />pletely isolates the surface <br />grade from the environment <br />below.
