Date of Inspection '��uG-� Inspector , /)o' fir' �• • F MONITORING ALTERNATIVE ,#7 Limited to underground storage tanks which have infrequent inputs and withdrawals and where the liqui(: level in the tank can be measured to an accuracy of +5 gallons or less when the tank is half full. This monitoring alternative shall include: Annual precision test on tank and piping. Tank gauging performed as follows: -� Tank must be capable of being secured to prevent unauthorized inputs and withdrawals. L-° Tank must have no inputs or withdrawals for at least a 48 hour period (2 days) at the end of consecutive periods lasting up to 7 days. (For example: tank in use Monday through Friday, then locked (% over weekend). Liquid level measurements are taken at the beginning and end of the monitoring period (lasting at least 48 hours). (For example: level measured and recorded Friday night before locking and again on Monday morning before opening.) If liquid level varies more than 1% of the tank volume or 5 gallons, which ever is less, between measurements, an unauthorized release shall be assumed to have occurred and shall be reported to the local agency within 24 hours, as per Article 5, Sect. 2652 of the regulations and further evaluations shall be performed to verify or disprove the variations. Implementation of the monitoring alternative requires that the following circled items be completed by the dates specified. �'1�, Precision test(s) must be performed by ��^� and results submitted to this office within 30 days of the test. j2 Tank gauging must be started immediately. (See instructions above).
