BOX 9795 SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA 95823 3526 62nd AVENUE <br />State License No. 183550 <br />Phone (916) 421-1990 Fax 916-421-0642 <br />Revised 4/4/90 <br />APPLICATION FOR PERMIT TO REMOVE UNDERGROUND FUEL TANKS <br />.ITEM #6 - Decontamination Procedure <br />Triangle Inc. of Sacramento will <br />Pump out remaining product. <br />Triple rinse tank with water and remove with vacuum truck <br />as hazardous waste by California Oil Recyclers Inc,, hauled <br />and disposed of by them. <br />ITEM #7 - Purge Tank. <br />Purging of tank to be done by putting 15 lbs. of dry ice <br />in tank for each 1,000 gallons of tank volume two (2) <br />hours prior to removal, plug all openings with one plug <br />having 1/4" hole for expansion. <br />ITEM #8 - Soil Sample - Obtain per following <br />After tank has been removed from excavation, back hoe bucket <br />is cleaned and takes a scoop from area under tank as directed by <br />field inspector, grab sample is taken with brass tube by <br />laboratory testing company and back to lab for testing. <br />If any underground piping is located over 15', soil samples will <br />be taken one per 20' of undergound piping. <br />L.
