01/27/2004 10:28 707611 ALPHA PETROLIS PAGE 03 0 Pneumatic Delivery System The Pneumatic delivery systems is used to easily deliver Parasealant 626 during installation of Blueline Repair Boots. The gun is operated by compressed air in order to make the dispensing of the sealant easier, Operating Instructions Step 1: Connect air supply hose to swivel fitting located -at the base of the gun. This requires a male 1/8" pipe thread fitting to connect to the gun. Step 2* Unscrew the end cap at the end of the barrel of the gun. Step 3: install tube of Parasealant 626 into the barrel and replace end cap. Make sure that end cap is snug. Step 4: When ready to fill repair boots, cut the tip of the tube at an angle and using a pick, puncture the membrane to allow the Parasealant to flow through the dispenser tube. Step 5: Dispense Parasealant by pulling trigger located on the gun. Care &Maintenance Tips: 1. Use only approved sealant in the gun. (Parasealant 626, 10 oz. ^.:bes) 2. If Parasealant gets on the inside of the gun or on the threads of the cap it can be removed by using WD -40, Acetone, or Mineral Spirits, if it is done before the materal is completely dried_ 3, Ensure that the center hole and the threads of the cap are kept cean so that the cap is not cross threaded during installation. Safety Precautions: 1. Whether operating, unloading, loading, or maintaining the gun never point it at anyone. Always point the gun at the ground in case the trigger is accidentally pulled. 2. Do not unload, reload, or try to service the gun while inside the sump. S. Do not attach air hose to the gun while inside the sump. 4. Always hand the Pneumatic gun directly to the operator inside tee sump. Never lower the gun by the air hose, in case the gun becomes separated from the hose. 5. Never exceed 60 psi while operating the Pneumatic gun. 6. Always where eye protection.
