El Dorado, Stockton, CA
Dear Sir,
-N
nk
EN -- E6
A
UG
E N V 1 R C) 'A i TH"
The tank sy2tems -tested at this location are identified as
follows:
Tank system #1 Unleaded
Tank --y-stem #2 Super Unleaded
The California Water Resources Control Boards criteria for
a tight tank system is a systei,,i with a leak rate less than
.050 gallons per hour for tank systems 12,000 gallons or
j
less. These are calculated, mathematical tolerances only and
are riot meant to indicate the permission of any leak.
During the stand -pipe test procedure the liquid hydrostatic
pressure applied to -the underground tank system is generally
two to -three times greater than normal liquid storage
pressures. This .increase in hydrostatic pressure will
amplify the indicated rate of leak accordingly.
Tank system #1 showed a ieak rate of -.016 gal./hr.
Tarok tegi #1 i
Tank system #2 showed a leak rate of -.026 gal./hr.
Tank system #2 is tight.
Should you have any questions re8uardin8 the results of
testing please feel.
