TANK CLOSURE REPORT <br />2320 El Dorado, Stockton, CA <br />Aegis Project No. 89-049 <br />Page 1 <br />PPONIM-TOINTIN14116) <br />Aegis Environmental Consultants, Inc. (Aegis) presents this tank <br />closure report for the Shell oil Company (Shell) retail gasoline <br />station located at 2320 El Dorado, Stockton, San Joaquin County, <br />California (Site, figure 1). <br />1.1 Purpose <br />The purpose of this report is to: <br />0 Provide agencies with information acquired during the tank <br />closure/new tank replacement construction activities. <br />0 Present results of work addressed to assessing the feasibility of <br />remediating soils containing petroleum hydrocarbons on-site by <br />over -excavation or vapor extraction, in and below the storage <br />tank system piping corridors. <br />0 Evaluate the need for further assessment and /or mitigation of <br />petroleum constituents in soil and ground water beneath the Site. <br />1.2 Work Performed <br />0 Sampled the stockpiled soils excavated from the top of the <br />existing product tanks and product line trenches per San Joaqui <br />County's Environmental Health Division's requirements. <br />0 obtained samples from soil beneath the existing underground <br />storage tanks and product piping according to the Tri -Regional <br />Guidelines: Regional Board Staff Recommendations for Initial <br />Evaluation and Investigation of Underground Tanks and under th <br />direction of a representative from the San Joaquin County's <br />Environmental Health Division. I <br />0 Submitted the soil samples to a state -certified laboratory for <br />analysis of petroleum hydrocarbons according to the methods <br />described in Section 5.0. Performed the required analytical <br />evaluations according to San Joaquin County's Environm- <br />r • <br />Division's requirements. <br />Permitted the disposal of stockpile <br />County Sanitary Landfill through thi <br />District. <br />4 <br />Aoil to West Contra Costa <br />Richmond Sanitation <br />
