UST owners <br /> are included in this new requirement. A copy of the SVVRBC flyer entitled "ACT NC)VV^, <br /> explaining the responsibilities of UST owners and the deadlines by which you must cornp|y, is <br /> enclosed with this letter. <br /> This second notification is being sent through certified mail so you understand the importance <br /> of the January 1, 2005, deadline to submit the owner's compliance statement (described below) <br /> and identify the, ICC certified Designated UST Operator(s)* for all of your underground storaqe <br /> tank (USTLLacilities located within San Joaquin County. <br /> � <br /> The owner's compliance statement mentioned above is required pursuant to California Code of <br /> Regulations, Title 23. section 2715 (a) which reads: <br /> By January 1, 2005, owners of underground storage tank systems shall <br /> submit a signed statement to the local agency indicating that the owner <br /> understands and is in compliance with all applicable underground storage <br /> tank requirements, and identifying the designated USTopenmtor/s\ for each <br /> facility owned.
