Contact local Air&Fire Districts for applicable permits. <br /> 2. Develop and use a site health and safety plan for the safe removal and installation of new <br /> Products. <br /> 3. Conduct all removal and installation procedures in accordance with manufacturers <br /> guidelines. <br /> 4. All installed parts and products shall meet voluntary consensus standards. <br /> (i.e. UL approved) <br /> 5. Primary line shall be purged of fuel and filled with an inert gas prior to cutting. <br /> 6. Contact this department for inspection of primary line. (1.5 times the normal operating <br /> pressure.) <br /> 7. Contact this department for inspection of secondary line prior to backfilling. (5 psi for no <br /> les than 30 minutes, and pass a soap test.) <br /> 8. Arrange all inspections 48 hours in advance, through direct contact with area Inspector. <br /> 9. After completion of the project the primary and secondary lines shall be individually <br /> tested for integrity by a state certified line tester, in the presence of an EHD inspector, <br /> prior to putting the lines back into operation. <br /> 10. The Inspector reserves the right to require a tank integrity test should concrete be broken <br /> near the USTs'. <br /> 11.
