Possess or work under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically <br />present at the work site who possesses a valid, current California UST Service <br />Technician certificate issued by the International Code Council (ICC), and <br />c. Possesses a valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the <br />component(s) being tested, repaired, or serviced. <br />6. Individuals installing underground storage tank system components must possess or <br />work under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the <br />work site who possesses all of the following: <br />a. A valid, current contractor's license issued by the Contractors State License Board, <br />and <br />b. A valid, current UST Installation/Retrofitting certificate issued by the International <br />Code Council (ICC), and <br />c. A valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the component(s) <br />being installed. <br />7. All components must be certified by an independent testing organization and labeled as <br />required by the organization (UL, ULC, ANSI, API, ASTM, etc.). See California Code of <br />Regulations (CCR) Title 23, Chapter 16, Table B for a complete list. <br />8. Log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS), complete and submit a <br />"UST Certification of Installation /Modification" form for the penetration fitting installed <br />within 30 days. <br />9. Permit expires 180 days from the date of approval.
