HAMMER LANE <br />STOCKTONr CA 95210 <br />AB2013 and 1362 These Bills require <br />the inventory, inspection and permitting of all underground storage tanks that <br />contain hazardous materials. The San Joaquin Local Health District, Division <br />� <br />of Environmental Health was designated as the enforcement agency for the <br />' <br />cities and unincorporated areas within San Joaquin County. State law provides <br />for a fee system to cover the cost of implementing this state mandated <br />` <br />program. <br />' <br />Local fees (see attached Fee Schedule), for these required inspectional <br />` <br />.� <br />services, will be billed on a yearly basis. The facilities Permit to Operate <br />will be issued for a five year period. In addition to the yearly <br />~ <br />inspectional fee, this statement will also include a $56/tank State surcharge ` <br />' <br />fee. The State surcharge fee per tank will be charged every five years or , <br />whenever the facilities permit is renewed or amended. All State surcharge <br />^ <br />fees will be transmitted by the Health District to the California Water ` <br />Resources Control Board. <br />To apply for a facilities Permit to Operate,/complete the attached Fee <br />zA <br />Worksheet and submit the appropriate fees. Fees are due and payable February <br />` ! <br />3Y 1986. Fees received after March 6Y 1986 are subject to 100% penalty. <br />In order to answer any questions regarding this Underground Storage Tank <br />. program, the San Joaquin Local Health Distict Division of En*ironmental Health <br />' has scheduled the following information workshops: <br />1. Thursday, January30, 1986, 10 AM ' <br />2. Monday, February 39 1986, 2 PM <br />' . 3. Tuesday, February 11, 1986, 2 PM <br />' <br />� <br />All of the above informational workshops will be conductedat the San Joaquin <br />Local Health District Board Room, 1601 E. Hazelton Ave., Stockton, CA. Due to <br />� limited space, these workshops wil be limited to the first 200 persons per <br />. meeting. <br />' ^ <br />
