These Bills require <br />inventory, inspection and permitting of all underground storage tanks that <br />10-�� gon-tain hazardous materials. The San Joaquin Local Health District, Division <br />Environmental Health was designated as the enforcement agency for the <br />`�,c-ities and unincorporated areas within San Joaquin County. State law provides <br />U fo r a fee system to cover the cost of implementing this state mandated <br />Local fees (see attached Fee Schedule), for these required inspectional <br />servicesp will be billed on a yearly basis. The facilities Permit to Operate <br />will be QSUed for a five year period. In addition to the yearly <br />inspectional fee, this statement will also include a $56/tank State surcharge <br />90 fee. The State surcharge fee per tank will be charged every five years or <br />whenever the facilities hermit is renewed or amended. All State surcharge <br />fees will be transmitted by the Health District to the California Water <br />"1 -1 'lesources Control Board. <br />To apply for a facilities Permit to Operater complete the attached Fee <br />Worksheet and submit the appropriate fees. Fees are due and payable 30 days <br />from date of this letter. <br />�t Inorder to answer any questions regarding this Underground Storage Tank <br />program, the San Joaquin Local Health District, Division of Environmental <br />Health Staff, will be available Monday -Friday between the hours of 8-12 noon <br />and 1-5 p.m. <br />If you <br />' have anyquestions regarding this, please contact C.
