Hunter Street <br />Stockton, CA 95202 <br />U/U <br />IN REPLY SITE CODE: 1148 <br />The analytical soil and water results received from your recent <br />tank removals performed on November 11, 1990, confirmed the <br />presence of contaminates at your facility which exceeded allowable <br />limits of leaching potential as recommended by the LUFT Manuall. <br />The former underground storage tanks) (UST) cannot be recommended <br />for final closure without further investigation to determine the <br />full extent of the soil and/or groundwater problem. <br />In addition, Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division <br />(PSH/EHD) is providing you notification that an "Underground <br />Storage Tank Unauthorized Release (Leak)/Contaminated Site Report" <br />has been filed pursuant to Section 25180.7 of the Health and Safety <br />Code. <br />Should you wish to mitigate the contamination documented at your <br />facility, San Joaquin County PHS/EHD has been designated by the <br />State of California Water Resources Control Board as the local <br />agency overseeing the investigation of leaking UST's.
