Connect with # 12 AWG (or larger) conductor the Barrier <br />Ground (Terminal 5 on the power supply wiring strip) to <br />the earth ground bus on the power panel being used to <br />supply AC line voltage to the TLS -2501 monitor. <br />Note: if connecting to a subpanei, be sure there is an Earth <br />Ground connection between the subpanei and the <br />main power panel in accordance with the National <br />Electrical Code. <br />2. Connect the power wires to terminals L1 and Non the line <br />fitter located in the monitor. <br />0 <br />F9 <br />L-_ A <br />Connect a Chassis ground wire betwefn the power panel <br />Earth Ground and the middle terminal of the tine filter <br />(Chassis Ground). This ground connection does NOT <br />provide adequate ground protectign for the barrier <br />module. The instructions contalned in Paragraph I <br />must be followed regardless of what other ground con- <br />nections are installed. ! <br />Connect the power supply wires in tale power panel to a <br />separate dedicated breaker. j <br />Check to be sure that the electrical resistance between <br />Barrier Ground ( Terminal 5) and a �nown good Earth <br />Ground is less than 1 ohm, <br />i <br />j <br />ESA (PROBE) WIRING CONNECTIONS. <br />Connect the two color -coded wires from each ESA to the <br />appropriate terminals on the barrier.
