Return to Compliance Certification.
2. District Advisor has been instructed to review procedures for managing
the hazardous waste storage area and maintaining a weekly inspection log.
3. Labels for haz waste drums are being provided to the store (copies of
completed examples are enclosed). It is my understanding that for
CESQG's, the accumulation date begins and is noted on the labels when
100 kg has accumulated.
4. The drums of waste on site at the time of inspection were picked up for
disposal on 6/11/08. This includes sump and spill bucket water discovered
at the time of inspection. A copy of the manifest is enclosed.
5. The failed 91 Octane Tank spill bucket was repaired and retested on
7/8/08. The test result will be sent directly to SJCEHD by Walton
Engineering. Walton is responsible for obtaining all appropriate permits
for repair or replacement of monitoring system components. I assume that
was done.
