Beckman Rd., Lodi, CA 95241 SR0059341 <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of the <br /> application for a permit to install lining,mpterial IECC Enviroline 125 per the manufacturer's guidelines on the <br /> #16 and 17 diesel underground storage.tank.(UST) system at the above noted address. The permit has <br /> been approved with the following conditions:', <br /> 1. Contact the local fire department, local building/planning department, and the San Joaquin Valley Air <br /> Pollution Control District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Contact Aris Cacapit at (209) 468-3453 to arrange the following inspection appointments (a 48- <br /> hour notice is required for inspection appointments). <br /> a. Ultrasound Testing <br /> b. Special Inspector's (Qualified Professional Engineer or PE) inspection of tanks. <br /> c. Tank Lining-If approved by the EHD. <br /> d. After lining, internal inspection by coatings expert or special inspector <br /> e. After lining, vacuum testing at a vacuum of 5.3 inches of Hg for no less than one minute. <br /> f. After lining but before returning to service,tank integrity testing of the lined tanks. <br /> g. If necessary, a secondary containment test must be performed on any tanks and/or piping where <br /> concrete was broken. <br /> h. Before returning to service, a monitoring certification for all tanks that have been under <br /> temporary closure. <br /> Please be aware that the facility cannot operate the clear diesel UST system nor receive fuel <br /> in the#16& 17 diesel tanks prior to the EHD inspection and approval. <br /> 3. After the tanks are emptied, cleaned, purged, sandblasted to white metal and tested by ultrasound <br /> for thickness, the special inspector (PE) shall enter the tanks and perform a visual inspection in <br /> which the following is determined: <br /> a. The tanks have an average metal thickness of 75%or more of the original wall thickness. <br /> b. The tanks have no open seams or splits longer than three inches. <br /> c. The tanks have no perforation larger than one and one half inches in diameter except below <br /> a gauging opening at the bottom of the tanks where the perforation shall be no longer than <br /> two and one half inches in diameter. <br /> d. The tanks have less than five perforations in any one square-foot area. <br /> e. The tanks have no single perforation larger than one half inch in diameter if there are <br /> multiple perforations. <br />
