Linings and Repair <br /> Ll P.O.Box 61847 Vancouver, WA 98666 Office 360-253-3619 Fox 360-253-2898 <br /> Scope of work for UST Interior Lining and Inspections <br /> NW Tank Lining & Inspection, Inc (TLI), CSLB 4879166, D12 Limited Specialty/Synthetic Products, will <br /> provide labor, materials and equipment to do the following work at Pack Pride Card-Lock. 351 N Beckman Rd, <br /> Lodi CA 95240(parcel#049-030-15) <br /> ENTRY& INSPECTION: <br /> I) Both 10,000 gallon tanks(#16 Diesel,repair of a leak,#17 Diesel, preventive upgrade)must be drained of <br /> fuel or to the point of water draw(less than 2 in.)and have site access available prior to TLI's arrival. <br /> 2) TLI will degas interior of tank with forced air venture (air horn), check interior atmosphere for confined <br /> space permit entry and open and enter tank with supplied air. TLI will enter tank through pre-existing man- <br /> way access system. <br /> 3) Upon entering the tank TLI will remove sludge and remaining fluids into 55-gallon steel, open-top UN <br /> approved barrels. <br /> 4) TLI will conduct a visual and ultrasonic thickness test by trained personnel, and prepare the interior UST <br /> surface for lining or repair. Certification by special inspector, a registered P.E. that the tanks are suitable <br /> for lining and continued use will be given before proceeding to lining. <br /> LIMING to provide corrosion resistance and stored liquid compatibility. <br /> 5) TLI will sandblast tank to a 2mil or white metal SSPC-spe-10 profile and within 8 hours of blasting, spray <br /> on EPA approved epoxy lining material(IECC 125)to manufacturer's specifications. <br /> 6) TLI will allow lining material to cure then holiday test and make repairs if needed. TLI will conduct <br /> BARCOL hardness and coating thickness readings on the entire interior of the UST, complete a TLI tank <br /> inspection report and UT report for structural integrity of tank's shell and locate any areas of corrosion <br /> repair if needed. Before USTs are returned to service,certification by a P.E.that tanks were lined properly, <br /> confirming visual check, thickness test, hardness test and electrical resistance holiday detector test of <br /> lining. Should:structural repairs or significant corrosion repairs be required,they shall be submitted <br /> under a separate permit and cover to the Building Department. Design calculations for the proposed <br /> repairs,prepared by an Architect or Professional Engineer,shall be provided. The original man-way <br /> plate will be re-installed on the UST. <br /> 7) TLI will close manway system cover plates and grade lids.No field welding required.
