B1.0 SCOPE: NOTE: Tank upgrades may combine interior lining with <br /> cathodic protection in accordance with 40 CFR Part <br /> Bl.l Chapter B applies only to 40 CFR 280.21(b)(1)(ii) 280.21(b)(3). When using this method, no future tank <br /> which requires that within 10 years and every 5 years inspections are required (Page 32 of EPA's "Must for <br /> thereafter, the lined tank be internally inspected if the tank UST's", September 1988, EPA/530/UST-88/008, Office of <br /> is not cathodically protected. This chapter provides Underground Storage Tanks,Washington,D.C. 20460). <br /> minimum requirements for internal inspection and <br /> assessments of underground steel storage tanks that have <br /> been upgraded by lining and do not have external cathodic B2.0 PERMITS&APPROVALS <br /> protection.
