Ultramar will take <br />responsibility for contamination attributable to our operation of the site and <br />will perform necessary remediation required in working toward receiving <br />regulatory site closure from Environmental Division of San Joaquin County. <br />It is hoped that this letter, in conjunction with our recently submitted Soil <br />Management Plan, sent to Mr. Harlin Knoll, will be sufficient to address all <br />your concerns and allow Ultramar to receive the permit necessary to reinstall <br />the upgraded tanks and product lines to a double -walled system. <br />Please do not hesitate to call if you have any questions regarding this project <br />at (209) 583-5571. <br />Sincerely, <br />ULTRAMAR INC. <br />Kenneth R.
