IMMEDIATELY dike the spill using a ridge of Instant 911
to keep the toxins out of the drains and ground water.
2. Broadcast Instant 911 over the spill until the complete
spill has been turned into a gel. The gel will form in
seconds. To allow the "deep cleaning" action of Instant
911 to draw the toxins out of the sub strate, let it sit
for 10-15 minutes.
3. Shovel, sweep or vacuum up the gel, and place in plastic bags.
4. Dispose of the bags containing the spilled toxins in the bucket
provided.
5. Notify your Area Rep/District Manager and Quik Stop Gasoline Department.
*** ON -GRADE PETROLEUM OR NON -WATER SPILLS:
1. IMMEDIATELY dike the spill with a ridge of Instant X11 to
keep the toxins out of the drains and the ground water.
2. Broadcast Instant 911 over the spill. If water is NOT available,
use Instant 911 in it's natural state. Wait until the spill has
been picked up by the Instant 911 before attempting clean-up and
disposal. The amount of time required will vary from onetype of
spill to another.
3. If water is available, spray the spill with water after completing
step one and before broadcasting Instant 911 over the spill. Water
triggers the superior speed and pickup ability of the Instant 911, and
also allows the "deep -cleaning" action which draws toxins out of porous
substrates.
4. shovel, vacuum or sweep up the gel and place in plastic bags.
5. --ame as #4 above under Toxic/Hazardous Spills.
h.
