Tracy Blvd., Tracy <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD) has completed the review of <br /> the application for a permit to replace the drop tube in the 87 tank on the underground storage <br /> tank (UST) system at the above noted address. The permit has been approved with the <br /> following conditions: <br /> 1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br /> District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br /> prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Stacy Rivera at(209) 468-3440 to arrange the following inspection <br /> appointments (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be <br /> aware that inspections for emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit <br /> approval. <br /> a. Overfill prevention verification: Measurement of drop tubes to verify 95% tank volume <br /> shut off. <br /> b. Spill bucket test: Verify minimum 5-gallon capacity and pass a one hour hydrostatic <br /> test (or equivalent). Proper drainage must also be verified. <br /> Please be aware that the facility cannot receive fuel in the 87 tank prior to the EHD <br /> inspection and approval. <br /> 4. If concrete will be broken near the UST, a secondary containment test must be <br /> performed on the UST once concrete is poured in accordance with the manufacturer's <br /> guidelines. <br /> 5. Qualified service technicians must possess or work under the direct and personal <br /> supervision of an individual physically present at the work site who possesses all of the <br /> following: <br />
