Center Street, Manteca Tank Retrofit Fee <br />Hi Mark, <br />I have been in the field, and haven't had the chance to review everything in detail. However, I do have a few <br />questions based on my preliminary: <br />1. -Does the vault already have a sensor and are you planning on reusing it? Or will you install a new sensor? <br />2. -Will the monitoring system cold start be necessary at any point? <br />3. -All the piping after leaving the vault will be above ground? <br />4. -Does the facility conduct daily inspection of above ground piping? <br />5. -It appears that an existing underground line from the fuel polisher filter to the UST will be removed? If so, <br />please provide additional information for this pipe removal (it's page 4 of the permit application), please <br />include the provisions for soil sampling below the piping and waste disposal for any excavated material (fill <br />out page 5, sampling protocol). <br />6. —Also it appears that concrete be broken near or above product lines and/or the UST? <br />Sincerely, <br />Elena K.
